« Great location, also great atmosphere. My only constructive criticism would be to put a privacy screen in front of hot tub. There is probably privacy in the spring and summer from neighbors because of trees and bushes but around the fall there is zero privacy. Some people like myself like hot tubs in the fall season. Also the beds are too hard and stiff. Could not really get a good night's sleep. Besides those two things the place was phenomenal. »

« The house is very nice and in great shape, There is FoodLion grocery store right next door. The cute small town of Monroe is within blocks. The backyard is great. Kitchen is well appointed. Beautiful house. Could use some more blankets and there are zero clothes bureaus. The host was very responsive but couple things. « We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light.
