« Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. « The hosts were amazing!! They left us a bottle of wine and some trail mix and nuts upon our arrival. The house has spectacular charm and just sitting in the house for breakfast was a really treat.I highly recommend this rental, especially in the summer due to the very nice swimming pool in the back yard. I gave 4 stars because during our visit the hot tub was slightly low in water level, the water had a noticeable 'off' smell to it, was slightly turbid, and looked like it needed a good cleaning....

Bedroom offered luggage racks (which is always helpful) and we appreciated that small touch. Bathroom is spacious! Lots of small touches that matter. The outside area is wonderful for relaxation.
