« As with our 2025 stay, the accommodations were wonderful! The house is tastefully decorated, and clean. I noticed nice upgrades to the decor which enhanced the appeal of the home all the more so. Wonderfully spacious rooms allowed for ease in enjoying utilizing them, and the host was extremely prompt in responding to inquiries and providing helpful information. If you’re looking for a home away from home while vacationing—this is it.. »

« When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house! »

« We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The house is lovely; clean, functional, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From reading in the hammock on the deck, floating on the giant pad in the lake, fishing, swimming, playing ping pong, and enjoying s'mores, our family had an absolute blast at the lake house. If your family includes kids and dogs, this is the perfect vacation spot for you! »

« We have stayed at multiple properties on Lake Gaston and this was by far our most favorite. Such a great property with amazing amenities. It was perfect for our multi-family vacation. The host was very responsive to any messages we sent and addressed any questions/issues immediately. Only thing I would add to my “wish list” for this property would be more pantry space. I would definitely rent this property again in the future! »

« The inside of the house was great, we enjoyed the layout of each floor and the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the living spaces felt like home. The bedrooms had ample storage & closet space and the bathrooms were nice. The outside of the house was disappointing. It desperately needed cleaning, there were cobwebs and bugs' nests everywhere. Perhaps we were the first patrons of the summer and the property just hadn't been cleaned up yet. The boathouse and dock were covered in...

« We loved our stay at this lake house retreat. The property was very well maintained with a spacious boathouse. The home was fully equipped with modern amenities and tastefully decorated. The split floor plan was perfect for travelling with teens or multi family. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the water and the location is excellent.
