« We loved our 3 night stay at Red Box Retreat. The master suite is comfortable, with lovely views. The bed is comfy and the linen was very nice. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked with pots and pans, plates and everything you need to cook up a storm. The property is private and a little oasis. We have stayed in Yack many times, but this is our first time at Red Box Retreat - and we hope to come back! Highly recommended. »

« The house is very basic, which should be ok, but there was laundry left in the washing machine from a previous tenant and the house was full of cobwebs. We vacuumed the main bedroom, as it was pretty dirty. The fridge was not clean and neither was the toilet. On leaving and closing a window the glass just fell out! Serious maintenance needed. There was very nice linen and plenty of hot water, so I suppose it depend on what your expectations are. The location is great. »
