We cannot say enough on how fabulous this Farmhouse was. The host, Clair was exceptional! She greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything necessary to accommodate our needs. Clair exceeded our requests for my disability effecting my stability and walking with the use of aids making the whole Farmhouse accessible. Her place was extremely relaxing, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was great for preparing your own meals. Her place is equal distance from the Creation Museum and the Ark for visitors planning their vacation around these amazing destinations. There was ample room to maneuver for those with challenges walking and the whole farmhouse inside and out was user friendly and safe. The deck areas were comfortable and inviting daytime and evening. A week was not enough! We stayed 8 nights and once it is over you are ready to stay longer and completely enjoy the solitude and absorb the beauty of the Farmhouse and property for another week. Clair was easily available and a charming person to converse with. She has some very well behaved long-haired Weimaraner’s that are fun to watch play and roam in a separate fenced area on her property. We would definitely stay at her farmhouse again should we travel to the northern part of Kentucky.

AMAZING!!!

The property and accommodations were over the top spectacular! Clair is an excellent hostess and made sure that our stay was THE best! We would highly recommend staying there. And the property is literally half way between the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter which was our purpose for staying.

Truly Exceptional!

Neither the pictures nor the description do this beautiful home, property and host justice. Everything is immaculate with this host paying attention to detail in a way that far exceeds most! We especially enjoyed the back deck with the ambient lighting and plush seating. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Simply.....Blown Away!

This was hands down the best experience I've ever had at a short-term rental property. The owner was VERY customer attentive from booking, through arrival instructions to greeting us at the door to guiding us on a quick tour of the property features/amenities. She lives downstairs, so she is close by for any questions/needs . . . but you never see/hear her or her dogs (she's a breeder) except when needed. I was a bit skeptical about how the setup would work --- but it was flawless! The house is not only has incredible finishes and tasteful design, but I was amazed at how the owner seemed to have thought of everything! For example, light switches labeled tastefully, towels were high quality, adjustable beds, etc. Everything was high quality. Highly recommend this property. If we come back to visit the Ark Encounter again.....we'll be staying here!

Friends annual get-away

The home was charming and the patio was nicely furnished and very inviting. Since one of us was flying in from out-of-state the owner was accommodating to our check-in. The area was quiet but easy to find. I would definitely recommend this home for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful Updated farmhouse near the ark experience

The property was even better than depicted online. Beautifully renovated with top-notch appliances and finishes. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Clair was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and easy to work with. The back deck was relaxing and a perfect way to spend the evening watching the sun set. Great location for our adventures to the creation museum and the ark experience. We highly recommend this property and plan to return.

Perfect place to lay your head, relax, cook, eat, and see area sights.

If you need a place to stay in Northern Kentucky, this is it. We had a group of 6 and this place was perfect. Easy to find. Easy access to other locations. The host has provided everything; I mean everything. Kitchen is fully stocked. Bathrooms have extra toiletries. The house is well equipped. The area is beautiful. The deck out back is super with comfortable furniture and great outdoor table. Views are wonderful. The beds were fantastic - better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Clair has four dogs on the property but they were never a bother and our son enjoyed playing with them. They are beautiful and separated from the guests unless you make the effort to see them. We would stay here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful country home

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. It is located in Kentucky where we could easily have access to the freeway for day trips. The owner is very friendly and hospitable and the 12 acres provided a restful vacation. The house is equipped with a full functional kitchen and relaxing covered deck. I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful VRBO Rental :)

The absolutely perfect VRBO rental!!! We could not have asked for a better property and host for our trip to visit the Ark and Creation Museum in Kentucky!!! It is a gorgeous, immaculately kept property that looks exactly like the pictures, is centrally located and super easy to get to, and Clair goes out of her way to make sure you are well-informed, taken care of, and enjoy your stay :) Highly recommend this rental!!!

Upscale Home

This was a wonderful experience at a beautiful home in a gorgeous country setting. The rooms and seating were friendly and the beds comfortable. We especially enjoyed the spacious deck in the afternoon. We took walks along the country road and all the neighbors who were outside waved and said hi. We highly recommend this vrbo to anyone who enjoys comfort and relaxation in a beautiful country environment.

Spring Break Memories 2023

We had such a wonderful time at this VRBO! It is the fanciest VRBO we have ever stayed!! There wasn't a spot of dust anywhere! All the appliances were new and spotless! Coffee, tea, spices, TP, toweling, and so much more were furnished by Clair. Clair was a FANTASTIC Hostess! She greeted us upon arrival, gave us a walkthrough of her beautiful home and bid us farewell. Her last words to us were to enjoy EVERYTHING, use EVERYTHING, and let her know if there were any further questions or concerns. She instantly responded to questions that we had throughout our stay! We settled into our luxurious beds, (adjustable, heated, and even had massage functions available) and fell into a wonderful night's rest! Tuesday we visited the Creation Museum which was 25 minutes away. This was an excellent museum! Wednesday we had a very nice Rest Day-and celebrated my 53rd Birthday! My husband and dad fished in her pond and my mom and I found a Starbucks nearby and enjoyed a free Birthday drink. For dinner we grilled out on Clair's grill and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings! On Thursday we enjoyed visiting the Arc Encounter! What an incredible place to visit! This, too, was just 25 minutes from her home. Friday we rested and Saturday we drove home. Thank you, Clair, for making this trip so special! We look forward to visiting you again!!!

Perfect home away from home!

Clair was a lovely and welcoming host. She greeted us upon arrival which was very pleasant.

We stayed for 6 new nights and it was lovely home away from home experience. The beds were very comfortable and sheets were fresh and clean. Cleanliness was top priority and it was evident in this Vrbo. Relaxing, private, along with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Clair beautiful dogs were no bother and they are so quite. I had an emergency back home and had to leave the family a few days early and Clair offered me a free ride to the airport which was truly a blessing in such short notice. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if ever back in the area. Thanks Clair for being an awesome host. Blessings to you and your household.

A Country Getaway on the Way to the Ark

The property and hostess, Claire, were wonderful. The property rests on 17 acres of land and there was lots of space to roam around. Inside, is a meticulously decorated three bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home that was very relaxing and functional. Claire greeted us and oriented us to the house. It was cozy, yet there were plenty of areas to get alone. Although the property is set in the country, it is conveniently located to the Ark Museum and Florence, KY where there are many restaurants. My friends and I highly recommend this stay.
