Chalets à Walsenburg

« The Sands is an old-school motel, but the room was clean and comfortable. »

« Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. »

« This is a lovely getaway in rural Walsenburg. Nicely appointed. Great living and outdoor space. »

« The property was super cute, exactly as described and well thought out details. »

« Accueil sans sourire, l'impression de déranger, pas de petit déjeuner que dire ?... »

« Had a wonderful breakfast fixed for us »

« Like others said, the pictures really don't do it justice. Hosts were excellent, the location was amazing, and my only regret was not staying longer. Would definitely stay again! »

« I absolutely love staying at this cabin. My 2nd time staying and I look forward to staying again. It was spotless, the linens were of excellant quality. It provided everything we needed to cook with, it was a full service kitchen. Plenty of space to gather and visit with friends and family. So peaceful and Joe was awesome with communicating, checking g in on us if we needed anything. 5 star plus plus. L. Cash »

« Lovely owners and lovely place! We had a great time with beautiful views and adventurous hikes! The cabin was very clean, cozy, COMFORTABLE and stocked with everything you could need! Will definitely recommend and be returning! »

« This is a nice location with plenty of activities to amuse us. We fished in the morning, hiked, and did some sightseeing. Deer were everywhere! Our cabin was roomy, clean and very pleasant. Our host put out a lovely coffee bar, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was like visiting a friend. The one negative is small - the shower is small. I didn’t care but if you are a large person it might be a squeeze. The king sized bed was comfortable; the room had tons of space to put our things. The...

« The kitchen, bathrooms and the rest of the house was very clean. The water pressure in the showers was great. There was some laundry in the washer and a full load of items in the dryer that we had to move to wash some of our clothes. We did not use any of the cookware or dishes. Perhaps some of the pantry/refrigerated items should be gone through and discarded. The outdoor area in the back was very nice and enjoyable. Cuchara is a fun place to visit and the folks that own the restaurants and...

« We had a wonderful time. Cooking was made easy with all of the spices and cookware. This is the ideal house to view the fall changing foliage. »

« Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. Huge theater-quality TV if you have an event you want to watch. Loved the spacious kitchens, high tech bathrooms, and great radiant...

« We loved it! »

« I loved the property. The most unique place I have ever stayed. The cabin is nestled up against a mountain. Has a beautiful sitting area on the mountain. It’s just gorgeous. I would highly recommend. »
