« We very much enjoyed our (too brief) stay at this quaint, quirky, and comfortable inn. Steve, the host, was welcoming and makes yummy banana bread. The gardens in the back made a wonderful spot for stargazing. »

« This cottage was perfect for our stay. It is comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The view down to the pond is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and charming -- we really enjoyed being in East Boothbay, as compared to the busier and more crowded Boothbay Harbor. There are several good hiking trails in the area, and so many other interesting things to do. Highly recommend! We would happily stay here again. »

« Sharon and Gil were so nice, hospitable, and accommodating and I ultimately had a decent stay. I want to be sure to let other visitors know there are some things that may help align expectations, as a past guest, so you don’t get disappointed. This rental is not “brand new” anymore, and I think this listing is overdue for a revamp/ update. « Easy walking access to everything in Boothbay Harbor. Clean and comfortable place to stay. A little close top traffic on the main road and more traffic noise than expected. Would return and would also like to bring more people to stay on the same property in the other buildings. »

« Nice, clean place. Very good kitchen and cookware. Washer and dryer were great. The only negative for us were the two futon couches - not very substantial and very uncomfortable to sit on. »

« This house was amazing. It was way better than we expected after looking through the pictures online. The outdoor space and the house itself are beautiful and the pictures do it zero justice. We were worried at first about the lack of AC, but the house cooled right down once we opened the windows let the air in. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to visit Boothbay. It was so close to the main area, but you couldn’t even tell- it felt like you were immersed in nature. »

« Beautiful property. Saw seals from living room catching fish. Front door did not lock but it’s a safe neighborhood but a bit isolated. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Laundry facilities were a great help! Gorgeous views of the water and excellent service and communication. »
