« We stayed at this house for 5 nights over Christmas and would have stayed for longer if we could have. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful setting on a property shared by a couple of good-natured geese and some chickens, and having fresh eggs was a bonus. « A old cottage adapted into a comfortable studio-style accommodation. Has an open fire which would be cosy in winter but creates a lingering smoky smell in the cottage (which moderates after you open up the doors and windows). Good value for money and very close to Girraween NP and a family friendly (newish) pub serving good food. »

« Loved the area, just out of town but not too far. The block of land and surrounds were magnificent. House was wonderful and had lots of character from the old times. Probably a little dated in areas and could do with a bit of TLC here and there. But really enjoyed our stay. »

« The gentleman on the front desk was very good and the room clean and the facilities were good. The position is excellent. I was very unhappy to come back to our rooms during our stay and the room was completely open. There appeared to be no security. We had left our computer in the room and someone could have walked in and stolen it. All that was required was to leave our door shut when they were servicing the room. There was no one in the room and it was partially serviced. »
