  • Welcome to Beaches, a wonderfully relaxing 3 bedroom bungalow tucked away in the peaceful location of Trelyn, Rock. At the heart of the bungalow is a lovely open plan living area with a modern kitchen and spacious dining area. The master bedroom enjoys an ensuite shower room and sliding patio doors allow access to the rear garden decking. Perfectly located to explore this part of Cornwall with local beaches, Rock and Porthilly Cove both within walking distance, along with pubs and restaurants.

    One of the village's standout features is its stunning sandy beach, aptly named "Rock Beach." From Rock Beach there are far-reaching views along the wide estuary, all within Cornwall's National Landscape. Rock and the surrounding coast is a wildlife-watchers haven, whilst walkers delight in the coastal routes across the sand to Daymer Bay and Polzeath. The property is in an ideal location. Local shops within a five minute walk and restaurants and the beach just twenty minutes away on foot. The house is well stocked and has a lovely private enclosed garden. We were lucky enough to visit during a heatwave. However sleeping in a bungalow, where you are not inclined to leave windows open overnight proved to be unbearably hot. I would strongly recommend putting portable fans in the bedrooms. The only other negative was that the kitchen felt grubby and in need of a good clean. The cupboard doors were dirty. As were the covers on the sofas.Overall a lovely holiday and I would recommend.
