Our holiday flat is located in the climatic health resort of Vlotho on the Weser, a small East Westphalian town at the foothills of the Weserbergland, not far from the Weser breakthrough Porta Westfalica, the "Gateway to Westphalia".
The holiday flat is tastefully furnished and very suitable for families with children. A high chair and board games are available, as well as several well-stocked bookshelves. Business travellers and trade fair visitors benefit from the quick connection to the A2 and A30 motorways. Enjoy the setting sun from the balcony and the view of the Weser valley against the backdrop of the Wiehengebirge mountains.
Situated on the Weser cycle path and the Sole cycle path, Vlotho is an excellent starting point for cycle tours. Several beautiful hiking trails also lead through Vlotho and the surrounding area, so that both leisure hikers and active holidaymakers get their money's worth. From here, you can visit surrounding excursion destinations such as Vlotho Castle, the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument in Porta Westfalica, the towns of Bad Oeynhausen, Rinteln, Bad Salzuflen, Lemgo, Detmold and the nearest major cities of Bielefeld (35 km) and Hanover (70 km).
