« Beautiful property. We had our wedding (small intimate ceremony only) here and it was an absolutely perfect day with a beautiful backdrop for the photos! Stayed for a couple of extra nights as well. The fireplace was gorgeous as was the local wildlife and resident sheep and alpaca. »

« We had an absolutely delightful stay at Sophie’s Cottage celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Julie and John have created an idyllic, cosy and peaceful sanctuary set amongst the picturesque Adelaide Hills. A gorgeous, historic stone cottage equipped with everything needed for a home away from home escape. Lots of homey little touches adding to the county ambiance. « We had a fantastic stay! We especially loved daily visits from the two horses in the pasture. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and impeccably maintained. It is well equipped with everything you might need for a restful getaway. The mattresses and linens were very comfortable and made for restful sleep. Jane was an excellent host, provided fantastic ingredients for us to cook breakfast and was very responsive to any inquiries. »

« This house was so comfortable and with the most beautiful outlook. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Fresh eggs, milk, bread and jam were provided as well as coffee and assortment of tea. The location is close to wineries as well as a short distance to Hahndorf, Stirling and Mt Lofty. Can't wait to stay again! »
