« As we were elderly, getting to a coffee shop or 7/11 store was difficult. Would like to see a (cook your own) breakfast package added (say 30 extra) - bread, butter, eggs and bacon and a couple of cereals. Having condiments and box of UHT milk provided was great. We bought our own coffee but this was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the heritage building. Very well renovated. »

« Great host communication, easy check-in/out, clear signage and guest info at property, convenient reserved car parking right in front of apartment, super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation! »

« It was comfortable, convenient, attractively decorated and had very good cooking facilities - although we had to search briefly for the two wall switches left and right of the the oven that enable to buttons on the oven itself to work. All was very good. Thank you so much. »

« The unit is made to look good but not everything is functional. The beds are very low, so were a challenge having recently had 2 hip replacements and a knee replacement. The kitchen appliance are tucked away in a difficult to reach corner. The step down to the bathroom was not very sturdy and creaked whenever stood on. The toilet faced the basin such that whenever you sit down you almost bang your head on the sink cabinet. »

« Safe parking behind a locked gate, but large cars might find the space a little challenging. Really comfortable beds, nice quiet area close to cafes and restaurants. »

« Wonderful apartment in a great location. Walking distance to everywhere or just sit on the balcony and people watch! The beach is busy and beautiful. The apartment has been appointed beautifully and thoughtfully. They have have thought of everything. After 8 nights on the road this accommodation is superior. »

« We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future. »
