« The property presents as historic and elegant. The gardens, maintained by host Peter, are immaculate. Several espaliered apple trees still have fruit on them, in winter. We were greeted by Peter and Georgia, who had asked about our arrival time so they might bake fresh bread (which indeed they did). Both were warm, informal and happy to chat for a few minutes. As promised they gave us some information about local attractions and eateries. The property offers several beautifully furnished suites....

« Alice was a great host. The studio apartment was clean, cosy and had a very comfortable bed. Hazel, my chihuahua loved it so much she didn't want to leave! Alice provided a lattice to semi-fence off the yard near the studio. Permanent fencing to keep the dogs in and safe would be ideal. Also some ceramic dog water bowls, would be a nice touch. Thank you for having us Alice. »
