« A nice break from a very busy Varkala. Best if you have transportation. The natural setting is calm, and it's worth exploring the beach across the waterway, accessible via kayak or 2km walk. »

« Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure. »

« Having travelled around India for 5 weeks it was refreshing to find a hotel where we weren’t pestering for reviews every 5 minutes! Maybe that’s because they don’t need to as they already know that their staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, nice food and pool. And all this just a short stroll to all the amenities of North Cliff. We were there when the monsoon started and as we had a late flight they allowed us to use our room until late...

« Brand new hotel. Great location next to the Helipad and 1 min walk to the beach and plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants. Stayed in room 301. It has a great view of the sea and the Helipad so if you like people watching this is the place for you. Very, very clean room and all hotel facilities too. Room was really good size. Linen and bed were really nice, all new and comfortable. All the staff were amazing!!!! Super helpful!!! Reception were very kind and offered me late check out...
