Unfortunately, we had to abandon the property after one night. We tried working with the property management to resolve a few problems with no success. The most critical problem was that there were bedbugs or some similar type of bugs that bit one member of our party overnight, leaving evidence, as bugs do, on the bedding. There were a few other less critical problems that night (i.e.a fast leaking a/c unit). Although the correspondence with management was cordial, they were evasive and would not send a representative to inspect and correct, nor could they provide replacement towels for those we had to use to sop up the leaked water. This left us with no bed to sleep on for the second night and no towels. With no local resolution, we were finally helped by central VRBO who looked at the same photos we had submitted to the local management and agreed with us that the bug situation was bad. Therefore, VRBO promised a refund and luckily we found another place to stay in a very heavily over-booked vacation area where availability is hard to find.
