Property relatively clean but dated and missing some essential amenities such as ironing board, tea towels, tv not working. Check in process a nightmare as lockbox was broken, and had to wait for someone to come let us in. Communication poor with company, booked at start of year and heard nothing apart from payment requests.Hot water was not working. communication again poor waiting hours to find out if someone had been to property to fix the issue. When asked how it was corrected to see if we could do it ourselves communication was vague and told to look at the welcome pack. Welcome pack outdated with old facts and little helpful information. Hot water continued to play up through out the duration of stay and all that was offered was an apology. On return from a day out after someone had been in to fix hot water, there was 2 birds trapped inside the property. One in bathroom, one trapped UNDER the kitchen cupboards. We left the property completely secure with all shutters sealed so no way they could have entered while we were there only when someone came to fix hot water. When contacting company regarding this we got no apology or acknowledgment of this distressing issue. Check out process also not smooth, waiting hours for replies from company and finding out an hour before check out that they had replaced lockbox and to leave key there. No resolution or sympathy again for broken lock box and inconvenience on arrival and departure.overall a stressful trip away.
