Backyard Park Access & Walking Distance Downtown Valpo

Your family will enjoy this centrally-located home within walking distance of downtown Valparaiso and close to VU. The backyard continues into secluded neighborhood park that includes a playground, basketball hoop, and sledding hill. The home has been updated and includes state of the art appliances and a large kitchen with ample seating at the dining table. The master bedroom boasts a King size Tempurpedic mattress, the blue room has a full size memory foam, and the yellow room has a cloud top mattress. The home also contains a ping pong table, foosball table, dart board, movies and board games. Also provided is a 60 x 24 x 24 safe for guests to utilize during their stay.

Family Fun in Valpo

Property suited our needs perfectly. Makes so much more sense than a hotel. The master was comfortable; the other 2 beds were too soft and uncomfortable. The yard was fully fenced in which we really appreciated. Games of ping pong, skee ball, and darts as well as board games are a great option to have. Valparaiso is a great city to visit and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Thanksgiving!!!

We traveled from South Carolina to have Thanksgiving with our daughter who moved to Valpo two years ago. 412 Elmhurst was great for our visit, for our Thanksgiving day and dinner, and so close to downtown for dinners out. It had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, visiting. It was a very fun combination of an old house and a very good remodel. We always felt super safe and comfortable. If it's available when we visit in the future, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much, Kyle and Rebecca!!

Great location in Valpo!

Perfectly sized home for my husband and I while we visited family in the area and worked remotely; our small dog loved the yard! The tree lined streets around the neighborhood were lovely for walks. The host was very responsive which we appreciated.

Cute house in quaint neighborhood

We were in town for a swim meet and chose Valparaiso for its restaurants. This house did not disappoint. It backs to a park, which my 6 year old loved, along with all the games. Home does have 3 bedrooms, but you do have to walk through one, to get to the other. Also, keep in mind it’s a renovated older home. Therefore, the floors do creak a lot, waking everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked, but we recommend the restaurants downtown. All in all a great stay!

We loved our stay here. It was just as represented in the listing, had the perfect amount of amenities, and very comfortable beds and sofa. Loved the extra touch of holiday decorations. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. Owner was responsive and available.

45th class reunion

Place was perfect for old friends to gather for Andrean class of 77 45th reunion. Within walking distance of downtown Valpo, and comfortable front and back yards, a spacoius livingroom dining room kitchen area, 3 comfortable bed rooms, this place really suited our needs! This house was furnished well and looked newly remodeled. It was beautiful and in a very cute neighborhood complete with a park close by. And close to downtown restaurants & shopping. We loved our stay & would go back anytime.

My partner, 10year old son and I really enjoyed our stay in Valparaiso. The place was really cute, clean and set up well for our stay. We loved the comfy sofa and fun game room downstairs. The hosts were really attentive. We would love to stay here again in the future.
