Welcome to Mas Cabanne, where tranquillity meets traditional French elegance.

Set in formal grounds of 7 hectares, with a private lake and pool, Mas Cabanne comfortably sleeps 18 people and is the ideal location for weddings, events and family holidays.

The house is a perfect blend of modern comfort and authentic old-world charm. The entire property, including the lake and the wider grounds around it, are fully available to guests throughout their stay. This beautiful setting offers idyllic lake views, and a terrace shaded by ancient trees. A small boat is supplied to allow guests to explore the excellent fishing in the lake including black bass, pike and carp - (bring your fishing equipment but lifejackets are provided). All fish must be returned to the lake.

Located near the historic town of Uzes, Mas Cabanne is set within a 15,000 square-metre private estate, with facilities including a fishing lake, pool and woodland. In a deep valley north of the historic town of Uzes and south of the dramatic Ardeche gorge, the house and grounds are a haven for birds and wildlife, and an idyllic playground for all generations.

With 9 bedrooms, the house comfortably sleeps 18 people and is the ideal location for your wedding, event or family holiday. There are 4 formal and informal outdoor seating areas – the dining terrace, the east terrace, the pool area and the fire pit – so that a large party can either convene comfortably together or split up to enjoy a bit of privacy within the group.

Only a short drive to visit beautiful and historic local spots (see Location), there is plenty to do within the house and grounds. The swimming pool is essential, of course; but the lake offers boating – there’s a small boat available for visitors’ use – and bird-watching, as well as fishing. Fishing equipment and binoculars are provided. You can row across from the house at twilight to moor up on a jetty by a Roman spring, and enjoy a cocktail as you watch the sunset over the distant Cevennes.
