The listing says check in is at 3:00, but didn't received check in instructions until after 5:00. There is an unexpected step down between the main area and the kitchen (which you must go through to get to the bathroom). The building was built on a slab, probably a garage conversion, and sits nearly at ground level. There were numerous earwigs...

« Nice clean home on the Russian River. Beautiful redwoods throughout the area. Peaceful sounds of a waterfall and creek near by. Thankful for a great place to go with our four legged kid, Goldie. The only thing that would have made the trip slightly better would be a king size bed in the bedroom. Beautiful and peaceful vacation spot. »

« We stayed at the Riverside Cottage for 3 weeks and it was so peaceful, relaxing and homey. It was just me and my husband and we enjoyed every minute. The place is only 7 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, but far enough away to feel like you are tucked away in the woods. It was perfect for the two of us. »

« When you walked in, the house is very open and welcoming. They have everything that you need, no need to run to store for shampoo/conditional. Kitchen has all the appliances. Beds are comfortable and clean. A great getaway for girls or family trips. We would definitely come back. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at this small but very comfortable cottage. So many pros- hard to name them all: Great location just a few mins to downtown. Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful landscaping and almost rural setting with vineyards and very large lots- no neighbors close by except for the owner's house. The 3 car owner's garage blocks views of the owner's house so you have a lot of privacy. Very comfortable mattresses and bedding, comfy sofa and living room furniture, convenient washer...
