« We had an amazing time gazing at the trees, listening to the nearby creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. We needed a relaxing getaway and couldn’t have picked a better property for that purpose. Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can. »

« The cottage is the perfect spot for some quality solo time - I used it for a writing retreat and it was ideal. I spent a week by the fire writing, did a puzzle, did some painting, made a lot of tea, and went on lots of walks (Islands in the Sea is a great hike!). It would be nice to have a couple bits of instruction written down on how to turn the fireplace on (host provided via message) and how to work...

« It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

« The Attic was very impressive. You are surrounded by trees and it almost feels like a comfy, cozy treehouse. Russ was a great host and solved a little check-in issue without any drama and we had an amazing time. The place is completely outfitted with everything you would need and has lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches.
