« My wife and I stayed for two nights. We had the Africa Suite which was comfortable, well furnished and spacious with a huge naturally-lit bathroom. The property itself is well maintained with lovely semi tropical gardens and a nice pool area. 4 stars would not be enough but I would have given 4 1/2 if I could for a couple of reasons. (1) the hotel is a long way from the centre (30/40 minute walk at least and) where most of the restaurants are and (2) although efficient, the lady on reception...

« Our stay was great. The host was outside and greeted us when we drove up. She directed us to our room (an upgrade) and explained the services, mainly breakfast since it was winter. Speaking of breakfast, the hot plate was delicious, a great start to our morning. Only issue was the cold. It was in the high 30s/low 40s and there was no heat in the room or breakfast area. The extra blanket helped, but there was no where to sit that was a reasonable temperature. The staff we met were all fabulous....

« We had a great one night stay when taking the NCCR (New Cape Central Railway) wine tasting train in Robertson. Good walking distance to the raiway. Friendly staff, great beds, excellent location and stunning gardens. I especially loved the sculptures in the garden. We bought some food and wine after the train, and had a stay at home tapas dinner. The staff helped us to make a fire, and we sat outside in the fall evening enjoying the lovely outdoor space »
