Totally relaxing vacation

Our family arrived from 4 different Texas cities. Check in was trouble free. Two fridges allowed space for everyone's favorite foods and beverages. There we so many spots to set up activities for two or seven! The pool was so relaxing. Hummingbird watching with morning coffee was great. Easy access to Garner State Park and river. We hated to leave.

Best Kept Secret!

Our family of 5 adults and 9 kids spent 3 wonderful days and nights at Bluebird Hill and Indian Blanket Ranch. The house is sprawling and incredibly comfortable with a unique floor plan. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, game room, and ping pong table. There was plenty of room for everyone. The yard and views were absolutely beautiful with blooming flowers (in July!). There are outdoor tables and chairs at every turn, a hammock, a great deck, and the sound of the creek below was heavenly. We spent a lot of time in the incredible pool and hot tub; it’s the perfect place to stargaze!We also enjoyed the ranch trails every morning and evening—for easy strolls or more strenuous climbing. This place is comfortable, inviting, quiet, secluded, and absolutely unforgettable.

Perfectly located close to Garner State Park. Easily accommodated our family of 13. We loved the history of the home. The night sky view was incredible! Lots of room to spread out for our family. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. We hope to visit this property again next year.

Home Away From Home

This house is by far the best with all the special homey touches and very clean. Well supplied kitchen too. Mostly, the owners response time to any questions or requests was at the top of the list of accommodations. Our teens loved the pool and ping pong table after the river trips. We enjoyed the spa at night under the starlit sky. Stop scrolling and book Bluebird!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Our Stay at the Blue Bird house

We had an amazing stay! We were there celebrating my Bachelorette party! I used to go to Garner with my family every summer as a kid and this place brought back so many memories, and we got to make so many new ones! My only note, they do not provide any shampoo, conditioner, towels, hand soap and only two trash bags, but other than that we had a 10/10 time and would stay again!!

We had a great time staying at this charming, secluded property near Garner State Park. The pool area and hot tub were perfect for relaxing with the family. The house itself is full of character, with unique artifacts and historical archives that give it a really special feel.We did have a brief issue with the running water, but Leann was incredibly responsive—she personally delivered water within 30 minutes and had the issue fully resolved in about an hour. Her kindness and quick action really made a difference and allowed us to enjoy the rest of our stay worry-free.We would definitely stay again!

A beautiful retreat

The house was a hidden treasure. Nestled among the hills giving us great privacy yet so close to Garner State Park, Utopia, and Leaky. We stayed mostly on the property since there was so much to do. Really enjoyed looking at the family collections, artwork, and photos throughout the house. Our grandkids spent a lot of time in the pool or at the ping pong table. Mornings on the deck watching the sunrise and recording bird songs was so inspiring. The kids are already looking forward to returning next summer.

Family time in the Hill Country

We had a great time at Bluebird Hill. Leann was pleasant to work with and was responsive to our inquiries. The house was comfy and the a/c worked great. The pool was great and we enjoyed hikes in the country on the 200+ acre ranch. There were 15 of us and we had a blast. The deck and bbq grill are in very good shape. The trees on the property are gorgeous. Lots of wildlife to see. Located just a few miles from the entrance to Garner State Park. This is a beautiful part of Texas and we will be back.

Comfortable spacious

We stayed in house and studio apartment above. Lots of room and lots of outdoor spaces to spread out. House is comfortable and laid back. Lots of birds, and best of all dark sky’s. Make sure you read what to bring carefully. It’s reasonable though and stores nearby .

Great Thanksgiving getaway

We, our kids and grandkids had the best time ever hiking through the trails, enjoying the colorful foliage and nature, spotting tracks and being startled by a buck while taking some sunset pictures. The home was great for our huge family and very interesting collections of all sort. We didn’t use the pool, but a few weathered it and enjoyed the hot tub one evening. We are definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

Here for the twisted sisters?

I’ll start off first by praising the property owners on setting up a well established property. Every step of renting here was served on a silver platter. I organize a car club and regularly come out to drive the hill country roads and this place checks every box! Lots of space, covered parking, simple instructions, short distance to our favorite roads, and a property with everything you could want. I loved my stay here and look forward to many more years of partnering up for my events. You won’t regret staying here I promise!
