If you arrive at MalĂ© Airport, youâll need to book a seaplane through You&Me, which will take you to the island. The resort has a dedicated seaplane lounge with drinks and snacks, and a resort rep will meet you on arrival and departure.
At You&Me, we were warmly welcomed with cold cloths and a welcome drink. The island is small; a buggy tour only takes a few minutes, and you can walk around it in about 15-20 minutes.
We stayed in Dolphin Villa with pool (number 509), with direct access to the sea and a private pool to cool off afterwardâperfect for sunset views and photos. Villas on the opposite side face sunrise but donât have pools. The room was great and cleaned twice daily by excellent staff. The only downside was the loud air conditioning; the fan above the bed wasnât comfortable to leave on overnight.
We recommend booking all-inclusive, covering most restaurants except H20. Some items arenât part of all-inclusive, so be sure to ask. There are five restaurants:
âą Sands â Main restaurant, no reservation needed; set menu with daily specials, open for breakfast and dinner.
âą Green Carpet â Poolside lunch and drinks, no reservation needed.
âą La Pasta â Italian food, great pizza and tiramisu; reservations required.
âą Rising Sun â Teppanyaki with a chef cooking in front of you; fun and delicious.
âą H20 â Underwater restaurant with amazing views.
Thereâs plenty to do, including free scuba lessons, kayak rentals, and water sports. Overall, a magical place!
