Palaces à Ushimado

« Unfortunately this was not a great experience. The hotel in itself is quite nice although it shows its age (old carpet, soiled walls etc). We were lucky to have a corner room and these are spacious and with a great view. Avoid going there on weekends: it’s packed and noisy. Weekdays are good. The main issue was with some of the staff. There is only one person speaking (some) English and misunderstandings are frequent. The worse was that when we extended the stay, he gave us a price (a little...

« It was amazing, the rooms were fantastic we left a little something for the staff on property. That property was amazing. We loved it. The people in the area were super helpful and this island has olive wagyu, which i have never heard of before. The property, the island, the people all amazing, would definitely come back again. Another beautiful thing that i will miss in Japan. »

« The room was beautifully furnished, huge by Japanese standards, and incredibly clean. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful! »

« Very large rooms, lots of complimentary perks like the bathhouse (not tattoo friendly), free ice cream and drinks, manga library, free late night ramen service at 930 pm. »

« Convenient hotel with nice onsen (the view on the city is wonderful) but need to be renovated. Old fashion design. Breakfast is good and well furnished. »
