« The pictures do not do Chalet Caramelle justice! We had an amazing five-night stay here in August 2025 and the house made a perfect home base for our stay in the Bernese Oberland. The house sits just above the center of Grindelwald. It is 10-15 minute walk into the center of town and a 25-30 minute walk to the Eiger and Mannlichen gondolas. « The location of this property was very easy to get to from Grindelwald Terminal, Easy to get around with the SBB train/bus app. Check-in was easy, we arrived early, they let us put our bags in the house while we waited to check in. Upon arrival the house had plenty of room for the 7 of us. Kitchen had pot & pans, oven is confusing to work & no oil for the fondue pots, but had extra toilet paper! The house could have been cleaned better. Our bedroom sheets were dirty & did not smell clean, the...

"Déçu de cet hôtel ! La vue fait tout paysage magnifique mais pas obligé d’être à l’hôte pour le voir. Très difficile de trouver une place de parking, sinon plus loin. Nous avons eu une chambre assez vieillotte, moquette usée, sèche cheveux hors service, prise qui n’accepte pas nos fiches. (Trop grosse). Etc… Dîner très cher et plat moyen. Dommage !"
