The private pond provides a fun opportunity for catch and release fishing of bluegill and smallmouth bass. When winter comes along, take the kids sledding in the backyard, or over to nearby Elk Mountain to hit the ski slopes. Enjoy views of the Endless Mountains from the front deck or by a roaring bonfire. After a day full of outdoor activity, warm up by the gas fireplace, stream your favorite movie, or let your competitive spirit take over with board games, air hockey and arcade basketball.

Getting Around:
● This is a very rural location. You will need a car to travel to and from the house. We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle as we are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped, snow covered, and can get very icy. Public roads tend to be plowed in a timely manner, but we cannot guarantee that conditions will be drivable.
Other Things to Note:
The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.
Pet fee is $100 per dog. Note that booking platforms may only charge 1 pet fee. Please let us know how many dogs you will be bringing so we can request the appropriate fees.
Wander Home welcomes guests with fully verified profiles. Please upload your government-issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as send us a photo of your ID.
Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.
A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations.
Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.
NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit Dollar General, Weis Markets, or other nearby stores.
We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank

When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the local jurisdictions without prior notice.
Any fish caught in the pond must be released back into the pond.
The private pond is on-site, behind the house. Guests are not permitted to use the neighbors pond across the street.
Interaction with Guests:
● We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
● Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
