« Location - great!! Walking distance to everything. But - The noise in room # 1 was so bad... Between the constant road noise and very loud water system noises that happened at least every half hour all through the night waking us all up every time - it was a restless stay, especially for the price. Old fashioned and retro style room, clean beds, some things were good, some things weren't.. It was okay. But we wouldn't stay again, at least not in this room. »

« The Burke and Wills was clean and presented as advertised. The amenities were suitable for our stay and it was a pleasant surprise to have real milk in the fridge instead of long life UHT. The staff cleaned the room daily and replenished the amenties. We would stay here again. »

« This property, while looking like a typical motel style is such a pleasant surprise. Our room 12a was a spacious, clean, well equipped room with plenty of inclusions, eg extra pillows, blankets, towels, breakfast provisions, fly spray and a great camp kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. Camp kitchen also has indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent communication with staff and location to silo art and Lake Tyrrell made this a great stop. »
