Location: Two-minute stroll to Benllech beach



Sandaig is just a two-minute stroll to Benllech Beach with its fine golden sands and clear blue waters, perfect for family-friendly fun, paddling, and safe swimming. On the ground floor, you’ll find two fabulous living, dining, and entertaining spaces. The spacious living room is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a large flat-screen TV, and a log burner, making Sandaig ideal for cosy autumn-winter seaside escapes. Large patio doors lead out to a terrace and onto the lawned garden. The fully equipped kitchen diner is out of this world, featuring an island and breakfast bar, a dining table to seat eight, and another set of patio doors leading out to the terrace. From the kitchen, you also have access to a small utility area and a downstairs guest toilet.



Sandaig has four large bedrooms, ideal for multigenerational family stays or relaxed friend groups. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, making it ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The ground floor king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony and incredible views of the beach and sea, a twin bedroom, and a final king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and more incredible sea views. On the first floor, there is also a family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, sink, and toilet.



Head outdoors to Sandaig’s patio and garden. The raised patio is accessible from the kitchen and living room and features outdoor dining for eight guests, a fabulous pergola covering the table and chairs, and a BBQ. Down a few stairs to the glorious enclosed lawned garden, you will find new garden furniture, perfect for your kids and pets to safely while away the hours. There is an outdoor shower for washing away the sand after a day at the beach. A little stream runs at the bottom of the garden, which is fenced off to add to the delight while being perfectly safe for toddlers. Sandaig offers enclosed parking for up to five cars.



As an added bonus, guests at Sandaig enjoy unlimited free golf at Storws Wen Golf Club for up to four people, a brilliant perk for anyone who loves a round or two during their holiday. The course also offers footgolf and boules for families, which can be booked separately.



The Neighborhood:

Benllech (said: BEN-hlekh) is an east coast gem with a Blue Flag beach — golden sands, clean water, and pram-friendly access. Kids love the rock pools, calm water is great for paddling and swimming, and the village has everything you need: shops, cosy cafés, fish and chips, restaurants.



It's a popular spot for dog walkers thanks to the vast sands, though the northern part of the beach closes to dogs from 1 May to 30 September, and leads are required on the promenade. Walk the coast path for views over Red Wharf Bay and Penmon Point. Red Wharf Bay itself is a nature reserve, home to purple sandpipers, shelducks, curlews and dunlins, with three restaurants — The Ship Inn, The Tavern on the Bay, The Boathouse — all looking out over the water.



Moelfre and Pentraeth are both just 15 minutes away and worth the detour.



Getting Around:

Free parking is available and local buses run regularly through the village. Benllech is ideal for walkers, but having a car is useful for reaching more remote beaches and sights.
