Logan and Carmen were wonderful hosts! Their home was so warm and welcoming and we were grateful to find such a wonderful place to stay together with family during a difficult time (we were in town for a funeral). The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the spacious and cozy seating areas. Beds were nice and comfy as well. Logan and Carmen were so kind and great at communicating! We would definitely book again if ever in town again (hopefully for a happier occasion ). Thank you for providing such a wonderful welcoming home!!

Friends and I stay at Villa Grande for a week. We were all so happy with the accommodations. The grounds and house and pool were beautiful. The house was clean with just about everything you need and the pool was sparkling clean. The host were even available to answer questions (pellet grill...). Highly recommend for a positive relaxing get away.

We had such a great experience staying in this house. From the moment we walked everything was clean and beautiful maintained. We especially appreciated the gate around the pool, the loft playroom, and all the family friendly space. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and communicate with the host was smooth and responsive. We would absolutely spend another family stay here! The bedroom upstairs was hot, but the host has already expressed added an AC to the room.

We had a family group of 16 stay here for the weekend. Plenty of beds and space for everyone which is rare to find. The house was very underfurnished in terms of living room furniture and especially tables for seating at meals. We ended up sitting on floor in kitchen bc there was only one table to fit about half of us - there was plenty of space for additional furniture. The listing says it can accomocate 20. Same with gathering in living room - not enough places to sit. Hot water was sporadic in main house and AC wasn't working well. Pool was great and house was clean.

Perfect Location for our Family Reunion!

We had such a positive experience with every part of our stay. Everything was seamless, including the initial communication with the owners, the check-in process, the cleanliness and quality of the home, the supplies provided by the owners during our stay, and the simple check-out process. We had 19 people in our party, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, to join together (whether inside living room areas or outside in/near the pool), and to feel like we had a mini-retreat away from the busy world. The home is located in a very nice neighborhood, but the property was so large that we felt like we had our own private getaway. Beds were very comfortable, pantries were well-stocked, kitchens had all we needed to cook/grill (and then some), pool toys were available (in abundance) for the kids, and every part of the home was very clean. Check-out process was a breeze and the owners were genuinely interested in helping our family to have an enjoyable visit. We highly recommend the property, and we hope to have our next family reunion in the Tyler Villa Grande!!

Fantastic family home with beautiful yard!

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Home was immaculate and fully furnished with everything you need!! Much more than avg VRBO. Yard is gorgeous and pool was perfect for kids. Owners are great - communicated with us frequently and kept us informed. Also appreciate that property is advertised exactly as it is. Home is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, too. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Property for a large group

Family travelled to gather for a funeral, and this was the perfect place! We had plenty of rooms/beds for everyone, the kitchen was amazing, appreciated the crib and fence around the pool for the baby, the guest house was perfect for people wanting to stay up later and hang out, the hosts were very accommodating and had lots of coffee pods, kids enjoyed the scooters and playing outside on property despite the rain. Lovely place for friends and family to gather for a special time. Thank you!

Family Gathering - Perfect for all of us to stay together

Our family was gathering together due to a death in the family. Different family groups were coming from all over - California, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas. We had 13 staying there over 3 nights and many more that came to gather and celebrate my mom’s life. The house was spacious and accommodating. It is set on 3.4 acres so plenty of privacy. The outdoor patio, pool, and seating areas were a favorite place to gather and we sat around the fire pit table and bonding, laughing, and catching up. Inside, the kitchen was huge and we found it easy to serve everyone throughout our stay. The front porch and the tree swings were a nice place to sit, eat, and watch the children play. At night, we took beach towels out to the front yard, layed in the grass, and watched the stars which were brilliant in that area of east Texas. It was the perfect home for our family gathering.

Tyler Family Thanksgiving 2024

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. Very comfortable and lots of room. Everything you need. Grateful to have the fence around the pool for my 2yo niece. Would definitely stay here again. We had 12 people stay and enjoyed having meals together. A table in the kitchen in addition to the dinning area would have been nice.

This house is definitely grand, but definitely in need of some upgrades. The locks don’t work properly and it was difficult to get in and out of the guest house. We were unable to use it because we could not get the handle to lock. There were also some issues with the lights, about half did not work. On the upside, the kitchen was large and well equipped. Overall, the location was wonderful!

Top Tier Place

My family was gathering for 90/80 b-day bash and proximity to SW Tyler was prized. We had 11 adults (5 solos and 3 couples) and for one dinner a total of 20 +/- (couple/three kids who enjoy the pool and/or ran around). The dining area was ample and with some gathering from around the house and guest house everyone had a chair and some space - not cramped at all. Dining room also has an ice maker, super handy but a bit noisy. The house also had ample beds for us (the listed 21/22 would require all couples or volunteers to double up). My mattress was firm and very comfortable (king, not in the master), and I didn't hear complaints from my group (ages 24-67) about mattresses. Neither did hear the snoring that surely went on in other BDRs. The bathrooms nice to very nice in size, well appointed, and clean (as was the rest of the house). The one I used had ample towels, soaps, etc. The kitchen is large, accommodates group cooking via functional floor plan, island, and ample counter space. Cousin in charge of food gave it solid marks (she's experienced and not an easy grader). For convenience, we used mostly paper plates, a combination of solo cups and house cups, and both plastic and house utensils. It has a pellet-style smoker, and we donated a nice, small charcoal/mesquite, which may have gone to the cleaning person. Wrap around porch is nice, so too patio/pool; ample parking & trash. CARMEN AND LOGAN ARE AWESOME HOSTS and it was pretty much perfect.

Sibling and families annual get together

Right before our mom passed away I promised her I would try to keep the family (my siblings) getting together. So annually we meet and visit for a weekend. 5 siblings and their families. 22 total attended this year. We had a wonderful time. The pool was wonderful, and the hit on the event. The kids also loved the swing in the front yard. My husband and my sister-in-law loved the beds so much that we had to look at the brand so we can get them for our homes. The host was very friendly and prompt to respond. The counter ice maker in the kitchen did not work but the one in the bar made enough ice for our needs.. The appliances were very nice. The stove was gas. The dishwasher is like the one I just put in my new home. Grilled burgers and hotdogs on the outdoor grill. The upstairs bedrooms in the main house were a little warm, but understandable as heat rises. They provided fans in every room to help. Our little granddaughters loved sleeping in the dormers. It was their fort area/no boys allowed. The host has made the house very family oriented with cribs, high chair, potty chair, toys, etc. There were also dog crates for medium to small size dogs. I would highly recommend this place for any kind of family vacation/get together.

Great place!

The main house and guest house were very spacious and nicely decorated. The pool and landscaping were well maintained. Our family was 12 adults, 3 teenagers, a baby and toddler. Everyone had a nice bed to sleep in and the host/hostess have gone over the top with amenities!
