Unique Home on Back River w/ Stunning Sunsets, Private Dock by Tybee Cottages

Host your family of 10 in one of Tybee Island's best beach houses on Tybee's Back River, including a private dock. Enter the home on the second floor and into the bright, sunny living area. With French doors that open to the wrap-around porch, guests will enjoy lounging with a Summer breeze after a long day at the beach.

The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for entertaining; guests can enjoy a cocktail at the island counter while you prep snacks for the beach. Everything you need to prepare a full meal includes an electric range and stove, a full fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, and ample storage space. A half bath is just beneath the stairs.

Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms and an additional semi-private lofted bedroom. The first bedroom has a King-size bed with an en suite bath, a tub, and a separate shower. The second and third bedrooms (first with King, second with Full, and Twin Bunk with Twin Trundle) share a jack and jill bath with a double vanity and standing shower. On the third level, an open loft space offers a Queen bed with a Twin trundle. The loft has a private balcony overlooking Tybee Creek.

A full bath (with a separate shower) and an outdoor kitchenette are available on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to use any water sports equipment in the garage. While situated on Tybee Creek, guests are only a short ride away from local beach access.

AMAZING back river home

Our family of 7 came for a week after baseball in Atlanta. Tybee is so great! Cute town. We loved the house...interesting history, beautiful decor, lots of space. Our boys fished daily and had great success! They caught flounder daily and I cooked it up! The girls took the golf cart we rented to the beach and got coffee (Sand Cat and Tybean) It was the best stay!!!!

Great Sibling trip

We had the best time during our stay! The house was so charming! We loved the back dock area where the dolphins came by daily. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The communication with the managers of this house was wonderful. The location was excellent close to restaurants and the beach. We loved the laid back vibe. We will be back next year.

Beautiful views from the back porch and dock. Super comfortable house, nicely decorated and furnished (though a bit light on essentials in the kitchen). Very comfortable - we had a great stay - will be back for sure.

Beautiful sunsets

There were 5 of us, myself and my 2 sisters and their husbands. The first thing you saw when you walked in was the beautiful back river water and dock. You could see this whenever in kitchen, dining room and living room. The rooms were all adequate and comfortable. We spent a lot of time sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch enjoying the water. We loved the dock, part of which is covered and had couches and rocking chairs. One of my sisters and I spent a lot of time reading there. We rented a golf cart which made it easy to get Tybee and not have to worry about parking. We grew up on Tybee in the 50's and 60's. We have been coming back for vacations quite frequently for the last 15 years. We will definitely be back.

Awesome location, great family home

Lovely decorated beach home that was just what my family needed. Lots of fishing opportunities to fish on the private dock. Super quick drive to the beach, or a nice leisurely walk if weather permits. Great location and neighborhood! Super communication from home management. We all loved our stay.

This property is the total package!

We spent a long weekend at Beach Music for my mother's 75th birthday and everyone had a wonderful time. There was something for everyone, including board games, TVs and a ping pong table for the kids. The adults enjoyed the well-appointed porches with stunning views and everyone found the home to be equipped with everything we could need to cook, eat and celebrate. We can't wait to go back to this wonderful property!

Beach music a delightful respite in Tybee

Lovely old home - high ceilings, covered porches great location and charm. Walk to beach - sit on the dock and enjoy the island Cleanlinesss could have been better - the sink on the dock was filled with trash from the last guests and there were some aggressive birds on the dock. Overall a lovely experience. I would recommend and use this rental again …..it’s delightful.

Always Perfection

My family and I have stayed at Beach Music several times over the years. We always enjoy the stay. The rooms are comfortable and the location is fantastic. The private dock is a highlight on days with good weather, and we enjoy the living area and dining rooms for games, movies, and reading when we stay in. Always easy and always the perfect place to settle in and relax on the island. We highly recommend Beach Music for anyone traveling to the area!

Loved the house and view!

This was our first time to Tybee Island. We loved this house! It was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed! We spent most of our time on the porch facing the water or on the screened porch playing games. We hoped beach chairs were provided, but we were able to rent brand new chairs from Tim's ($5 per day). We thought the island itself was run down and we were surprised how many people smoked (even indoors). We liked the short drive to Savannah and spent two days exploring the city.

Peaceful spot

The location of the house was perfect for a winter stay. Being on the water, with the dock, made all the difference. Beach easy to reach with light winter parking and within walking distance if not brining anything. Looks like the town and beaches would be very crowded and busy in season. Kitchen had enough supplies to cook meals but minimal dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels and one hand towel to serve too many purposes.

Just perfect!

We loved our stay at Beach Music. Full of charm, we loved the porch the dock (which worked great for bringing our own boat). Be sure to research the access to Tybee Creek with the ebb and flow of high tide. Very difficult to get in at low tide. There is a family of raccoons living on the the roof that I did notify the property management about. They were no real trouble. My only complaint overall was that the garage was a bit of a disaster with all kinds of random stuff lying around. Kayaks were not accessible. Management also told me there was not a grill, but in fact, there was a grill. A bit annoying because we lugged our own along. Also not sure why an elevator is advertised yet not accessible either. Aside from that, it was a LOVELY place to stay.

Great location for outdoor activities!

Great place to fish! Dock is great for fishing, ride and tie up jet skis or boat if you have jet skis/boat, and has outdoor sink and to clean fish and an outdoor shower to rinse off. This house is walking distance to the beach, and has secure parking for cars and/or jet ski/boat trailer under house. Great house for our stay 2 years in a row.
