Cette belle maison est parfaite pour les familles! Piscine privée, beaucoup de vélos et de matériel de plage, près de la plage. Parfait pour les réunions de famille, le plan d'étage ouvert comprend une grande pièce avec des plafonds voûtés, une télévision grand écran et un système stéréo pour la maison, ainsi qu'une cuisine bien équipée avec des comptoirs en granit, un îlot central avec un deuxième évier, de nouveaux appareils électroménagers et un immense style familial table à manger. Les portes françaises de la cuisine s'ouvrent sur une magnifique terrasse couverte où vous pouvez vous asseoir ou vous balancer et profiter du paysage et de la brise fraîche de l'océan. Notre belle maison de 5 chambres peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 16 personnes, si vous incluez la crèche pleine grandeur 17. En plus de la grande salle et de la cuisine, le rez-de-chaussée comprend également deux chambres principales avec salle de bain privée, une chambre avec lits superposés, une demi-salle de bain et une laveuse et une sécheuse HE de taille standard. Le deuxième étage a deux chambres, une autre salle de bain complète, plus un loft (avec canapé-lit) donnant sur la grande salle. La nouvelle piscine creusée de huit pieds par 18 pieds possède une terrasse couverte entièrement meublée avec beaucoup de sièges confortables et de la place pour les repas en plein air, ainsi qu'un grand barbecue à gaz. Un autre réfrigérateur, un four micro-ondes et une télévision sont idéalement situés près de la piscine, ainsi qu'une salle de douche extérieure semi-privée avec eau chaude et froide. Nous avons de la place pour un garage couvert de 2-3 véhicules (selon la taille), avec de la place pour au moins un de plus dans l'allée. Situé à un pâté de maisons de la plage, un pâté de maisons de l'épicerie, à distance de marche de Tybee Pier et Pavillion, de nombreux bons restaurants et du shopping.
Tranquility House est l'endroit idéal pour les réunions de famille et les vacances en famille!

Spring Break on Tybee Island

Two friends and I took our kids and their friends for a senior year trip to the beach before everyone graduates. The kids loved the location and thought the house was awesome. The communication with the property manager was excellent and the entire trip was easy and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Great location

This is a nice, big house that accommodated our multi-family stay. There was a little confusion with the property managers about how we were supposed to park, but once we got that figured out all went smoothly. The house has a nice, small pool, is an easy block from the beach, and is conveniently close to the market. We had a great week and would come back.

Family Vacation

The house was a perfect size for our group of 13. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect for grocery shopping and beach access both of which are just a block away. There’s plenty of beach accessories like sand toys, chairs and umbrellas. The location is close to stores that sell anything else you may want and bike rental services. There are a couple of wagons as well. The entire house could use a nice purge. There are a lot of broken things and unusable items throughout.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week in Tybee. This house is in the perfect location- only one block from the beach. It’s far enough away from the stores/dining that it’s not super crowded but still plenty close to walk to most everything. The online listing is accurate- everything was as expected. The pool is small but was perfect for the little kids to take an afternoon dip. My only complaints would be with the A/C and pull out couches. The A/C throughout entire house except 2 main level bedrooms worked wonderfully. However, these two bedrooms seemed to have no air coming from the vent even though it was open. Had to keep the doors open at night to keep from getting too hot. The pull out couch mattress is as old as the couch and is practically nothing but springs. It could definitely stand to be replaced. No major issues, though and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This property was very disappointing for my family. Upon arrival we immediately noticed some alarming things, the most serious of which was freshly dried blood on one of the comforters. Dirt in a few of the beds. A bookshelf looked like a dog chewed off the top corners of it. There was a pile of empty beer cans in the pool area. Cockroaches were seen 3 times IN the house. We also noticed fairly quickly that the dishwasher had an odor which I can only assume is from the food trap not being properly cleaned which made us wonder how clean the dishes we were eating off of actually were. Mold on the ceiling vent and peeling paint were noticed in the dining area. The washing machine also had a very foul musty odor, which made our clothes smell after washing them. We checked in on a Sunday and the pool pump was broken but there was a work order placed for it. After constant contact with the host we were told the technician would be out to fix it - 2 days in a row. One of the last nights at the property, while bathing our kids the faucet in the bathtub broke and we couldn’t turn the water off. The maintenance person came to help, he called the emergency plumber but they didn’t answer the phone so he promptly turned off the hot water and left. The plumbers did come the next day and fixed it but this was very frustrating to have to deal with on top of everything else. This house sits on a very busy street where the speed limit is 30 mph, but cars were flying by - concerning for kids.

Great house lots of space. Close to beach. Grocery store very close. Lamps in den and bedroom were not plugged in and quite inconvenient to climb/reach thru headboard to only one outlet on the wall. No way to close garage door from outside.

Great House for families

The house was wonderful. The house & kitchen were well appointed & it was a great location. Close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants & shops. We did have an issue with the internet all week, but the rental company worked with us to find options in order to take care of work & school needs. We would definitely recommend!

Family Trip

- Good location to the beach BUT the pictures are VERY deceiving. The house is located on a VERY busy and noisy road. - Communication could have been much improved on what the house has for guests. The property manager had us almost renting beach equipment for the entire week. Thank goodness we waited as the house had plenty of umbrellas and chair, wagon, etc. We did rent a pack and play and when we arrived the house had own. I asked the property manager about these accommodations and they were completely inaccurate. - A beach house should accommodate and have beach towels - MINIMAL kitchen supplies. You should have at least the basics of salt and pepper. - Bathrooms and Bedrooms we’re comfortable with plenty of space - Easy check in and check out - Garage needs cleaning out of damaged beach chairs, equipment. Could be dangerous area for kids - Lots of pool work for those staying at the house. Having to fill the pool, etc.

We have a group of friends that get together every 2 years. We all thought this was our best one. The rental was great. Location was excellent. Really enjoyed having the pool. Plenty of room and privacy. Would recommend to others.

Tybee Thanksgiving

We just returned from our amazing Thanksgiving retreat to Tybee. This trip was extra special for our family because both our mom and dad have late stage cancer. We arranged this trip so that we could all get away together for some happy memories. It was a success and so very special! My only complaint which isn’t really a complaint, more something that we meant to mention to management. There were so many thoughtful details! However, one of the beds was broken on the first floor and so was uncomfortable to sleep on, the wagon for the beach had a flat tire, the coffee pot didn’t work (Thank God there was a backup!!), and the grill was out of gas. If it hadn’t been a holiday some of that could have been easily resolved by us. Anyway, all in all, the home was beautiful, definitely accommodated all of our large family, was literally a 5 min walk to the beach and provided the back drop for some priceless memories with cherished members of our family. Thank you so much!

Great trip

Tranquility house was a great house for our girl's trip. We just wanted time to relax and enjoy one another's company. The house suited our purpose perfectly. The house was very clean upon arrival. 1 block walk to the boardwalk to the ocean. The pool is small but was perfect for the 6 of us. Kitchen is very well stocked. The only thing we couldn't find was a blender. We walked to restaurants for dinner several nights. The beach was not crowded at all. The house had plenty of bath towels, etc. Hot water was plentiful when showering and great water pressure in the showers as well. We had a wonderful trip. Thank you to the owners of Tranquility House.

Pandemic Vacation

Overall our experience was very good. The great room area (LR, DR & kitchen) is conducive to everyone being together and yet the bedrooms are tucked away for privacy. Our group had 7 adults & 2 small children so the pool was a bit small & shallow for our liking but nicely secluded from neighbors. Quick walk to the beach which was not crowded. Tons of beach/pool accessories available (including beach towels). On the downside, there are multiple bicycles in the garage which we were planning to use but they were locked up & when we called the office we were told that the owners don't want to carry liability insurance for them & so they couldn't be used. These bikes should be removed from the garage and from the online listing pix. Also, instead of dining out due to Covid concerns we chose to get carry out or cook in. When we opened the outdoor grill it was caked with grease and food. It then took an hour to clean it before we could use it - yuk! Those issues aside, our stay was wonderful & relaxing.

A perfect family vacation!

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to stay at a vrbo home that doesn’t have these amenities. Anything you need to entertain 3 kids was there! They loved taking a wagon ride to lunch or dinner, just a few blocks away. The beach carts were easy to load up and take everything in one haul. Unfortunately the beach canopy only had three working legs when we arrived but upon learning this the owner had all intentions of replacing it. We set up the provided crib and comfy crib mattress and high chair for our almost 2 year old in about 10 minutes and it was so nice to not have to travel with any of it. Excellent clean home with plenty of beds and bedrooms! We thought the pool might be small but honestly with 6 adults and 3 kids it was just right. And so nice not to have to pack pool and beach towels!

We just got home from our stay at tranquility house and it couldnt have been better!!! We had 17 people. 11 adults and 6 kids. The house has so much baby equipment and we used all of it! the wagons and beach supplies were all so helpful! The beach is a short walk, and the pier and grocery store were all walking distance. The house was huge and very clean. We spent alot of time on the balcony and by the pool. The detail the owners put into this property is incredible. We will definitely be back!

Girls Weekend

The house had everything we could have needed for the long weekend. They were fully equipped for the beach with plenty of gear for a large group. It was a short walk to the beach but they had large carts built for the sand which made it easy The rental staff was great and the owners were incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this house for a large group.
