Glamping Meadow Bell Tent

The bell tent in our meadow is equipped to a high standard with everything you need for a relaxing stay at our glampsite, including electrical points.

Have a peaceful nights sleep on your ultra-comfort camping bed with luxury mattress and memory foam topper. Boil the kettle and fry some bacon on your fire pit grill or take a short walk to the utility area to make use of the electric kettle, toaster and microwave. A shower and WC are also located in the utility room, next to the parking area.
The space
Our bell tent is situated at the foot of our meadow close to a variety of trees, you might even find some apples!

We are surrounded by nature with guests regularly enjoying seeing hedgehogs, foxes and badgers plus the cows and sheep in nearby fields and hearing birds singing, owls hooting and seeing amazing skies full of stars at night.

The spacious Bell Tent, sleeps two on a very comfortable camping bed with luxury mattress. There are four electric points in addition to four USB points. We have kitted the bell tent with plenty of crates that can be used to suit your needs - upended for a table top, on their sides for shelving or flat for box storage. There are cushions, blankets and hot water bottles to keep you warm.

For extra cosiness we also have a wood burning stove for warmth to contribute to your adventure under the stars.

The accommodation has a mini fridge. We have an extra large fridge guests can also use next to the utility, in our workshop. Utensils, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are all provided along with a kettle to be used on the fire pit grill or an outside gas cooker is available on request.

The utility room is a short walk away and has a microwave, toaster and electric kettle for your use. A shower and WC is also accessed from the utility room. We provide hair & body wash and soap. Bath towels are provided.

The accommodation benefits from high-speed Starlink satellite internet - perfect for remote work, streaming movies on your device and staying connected.

We also have board games on request and a communal outdoor table tennis table, pull up bar and picnic table.

The accommodation has a patio area with bistro table in addition to a lower grassed area with fire pit and armchairs to toast your marshmallows by.

You will be welcomed by Cornish gourmet food goodies. The accommodation is also stocked with marshmallows for toasting, tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

The first load of firewood is complimentary. More can be provided at local charge.

Perfectly located for exploring Cornwall we are only 12 minutes from the A30 trunk road, 15 to 20 minutes to Truro and Falmouth and both coastlines.

We are approached via beautiful country lanes which are narrow in places but have lots of passing places and the locals are good at reversing!

We have car parking on our gated private driveway and then it’s a short walk across our meadow to our Bell Tent, via a mowed grass path.

Check in from 4 pm and check out is by 10 am please unless agreed otherwise. We are often around to welcome you in person but if that is not possible will send you self check in information.
Other things to note
At our micro glampsite we have a licence with the Freedom Camping Club for three glamping units - the cabin, a shepherds hut and a bell tent. Each unit is set in its own area and we have taken great care to give each unit privacy via landscaping, design and site layout. Our property is circa 1 acre in total and we also live at the property.

Each unit is self contained, sleeping two adults, in its own private setting, with lots of natural screening and plenty of space for everyone!

We have super fast internet connectivity across the glampsite which is free of charge.

The first load of fire wood is complimentary but then it is charged at local rate. Firelighters and matches are provided.
