« We stayed in the Hummingbird room and it was absolutely delightful! The room is spacious and so clean and comfortable. The garden view is superb and peaceful. The walk in shower and jet tub is luxurious. We ordered dinner and it was superb and very reasonable especially for the amount of food. The breakfast was delicious especially the overnight oats! « Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap.
The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit. »

« The property is very old. The doors and windows have lots of open crevices so bugs can easily come inside. There were tons of spiders actively around the home along with crazy looking centipedes. Nothing poisonous which was good. The back door doesn’t align to the lock so it has to be lifted up so that you can lock the dead bolt. The view is fantastic. I enjoyed the large window door in the mornings to look out at the lake but that was probably the best part. No cooking vent and the windows...
