« Un vrai petit coin de paradis. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'exception des déchets sur la plage et dans l'eau. On nous a dit que durant la basse saison les courants marins apportaient plus de déchets qu'en haute saison et ca ne semble pas être dans leur priorités de ramasser les déchets. Nous avons donc passé ma petite famille et moi plus de 2h à ramasser 4 gros sacs de poubelle de déchets de toutes sortes... Sinon la propriété est bien entretenue et le personnel très sympathique et...

« I was in conversation yesterday when I arrived at the hotel and there was no recognition of my booking .The power was failing on the island so while I was chatting to the virtual assistant the conversation kept falling in and out then she was going to put me through to claim the money back but the conversation ended.I turned up and the hotel had no room for me it was totally full and the manager said he had no recognition of my booking and the hotel doesn’t deal with Vrbo.So it was getting late...

"We had an amazing time on Ko Lanta and we can clearly say that Twin Bay played a big role in that. The place is amazing for families, the location not far from everything with a scooter, the extra helpful staff (cheers to Nick), the pool with an amazing view on the beach, the really good bungalows and the list goes on. If you are considering staying on the island with kids, make it your place. While there we met with another family and ended up spending our time together! Thanks again to Nick and the staff for this wonderful moment."

Hotel and Beach Bungalow at Lanta Resort

"I stayed four nights at the Hotel and Beach Bungalow at Lanta Resort, and by the end of my stay, I was left with a love-hate relationship. After checking out most of the accommodations along Long Beach, I would say this property is among the better options—or, let’s say, the least disappointing. During my four nights, I stayed in three different bungalows. The reason: the unbearable noise of the air conditioning. The unit is installed directly in front of the bed and blows with impressive force—you’d think you were in a wind tunnel testing a car prototype. Despite the “sleep” button on the remote, this mode seems ineffective. After visiting seven bungalows in total, I found that the problem is widespread. The only solution I found (on the last night) was to cover about 60% of the air outlet with a beach towel to reduce the airflow. That said, the bungalows appear relatively new, well maintained, and clean. The space is pleasant and would be very suitable for a longer stay. Another mystery: the beachside bar and restaurant are almost deserted in the evenings by hotel guests. Most seem to prefer nearby beach establishments. I couldn’t figure out why, but one thing is clear—the atmosphere feels like a retirement home, perhaps explained by the fact that many of the hotel’s guests are older."
