« Booked a weekend stay to check out the beacon area. Was pleasantly surprised how such a small cabin had everything you would need for a small getaway. Hosts eveven provides snacks and coffee, though my plus 1 and I didn’t need any. Cable tv and WiFi and an/c included. Everything was clean and neat. Loved that it was within 15 min driving from beacon main st, dia, Ben marl winery and some hike trails which was all on my weekend agenda.Highly recommended! »

« My multigenerational family enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, ping pong, billiards, pop a shot, and the fire pit. Steep stairs to the upstairs shower make it tough for anyone with mobility issues . Very quiet location yet near to shopping and trains to NYC. »

« The cabin was so comfortable, and just as described. We all remarked on how comfortable the beds were, and the abundance of pillows to choose from for a restful sleep. The location was perfect, and the property was just beautiful! We loved waking up to bird song - such a variety of birds to hear and photograph! Rhona, our host, was very prompt and courteous in responding to any communication and/or questions. It's always great to get away with family and friends, reconnect, and just enjoy each...

« We were so happy with our stay at this cabin. It was so nice. The cabin feels like a lot of care was put into it. The nature around the house is incredible. The only flag is that the wifi wasn't incredible (got the job done, but may not be great for a Zoom call or similar). »

« The most unique VRBO we have ever stayed at. An enlarged hunting lodge, it is definitely rustic, with small but modern bathrooms and WiFi. But the most amazing feature is the spacious deck, overlooking a 100’ waterfall roaring down a sheer cliff! Great base camp for hiking, both onsite and at nearby Shawangunk Ridge state parks and nature preserves. Highly recommend for outdoorsy types, especially hikers and rock climbers. »

« Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Check-in was a breeze as well check out. Even though 9W is nearby very very minimal noise other than that, good quality sleep. AC works great. They even provide a sound machine, which my wife and I did not use since we always have our own. Full size fridge, stove, oven combo, microwave and a little fire place. We only used the fridge and microwave. There is also an outdoor grill with a picnic table which we did not use, we had other plans, maybe next time....

« My husband and I had a great stay. This property is clean, cozy and has such a relaxing vibe. We loved the bathroom's spa-like atmosphere. The bed was so comfortable; my husband said it was some of the best sleep he's had lately. I enjoyed exploring the varied book collection. My husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor property. « My husband and I stayed here to relax, rejuvenate, and celebrate his birthday. We had a wonderful time! He really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while listening to the sound of the creek. Our dog, Gambit, loved laying near the pellet stove to warm up on those cold nights. The hosts were/are wonderful and are very attentive and responsive! They have small touches here and there that really make the stay special (like the dog bowls and treats). We are already looking forward to our next stay...
