« The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our Fall stay for rest and relaxing. The views every morning and evening were gorgeous. We love that the cabin is pet friendly so our dogs could join us for the week. We used the hot tub almost every evening to watch the sunset which were amazing. The amenities were outstanding which included use of the pontoon boat. There are also a few trails that you can walk to without having to get into your car. Our favorite was the Trout Trail...

« This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. « By far my favorite rental we have ever stayed in. Both the house and the boathouse were clean and beautifully furnished. The dock was easy to navigate with a boat, and the view from the front porch was stunning. The island was very quiet and peaceful, with lots of wildlife all around. The house was well furnished and stocked, but you will need to bring your own shower toiletries. Boat rentals are available from Clayton Marina and include a free slip and a parking spot for trips into town. »

« Stayed here for my anniversary! It was very cute! Great for a couple and their dog. Loved the outdoors feeling which is want I wanted for us. Didn’t mind not being in the middle of everything as I wanted calm and nature. I will say it is well water so if you don’t like the taste of that- make sure you buy bottled water. »

« We had a wonderful time at Sunset Cottage! The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the grounds and scenery/views are great! We appreciated the kayaks that were available for our use and the ability to dock our pontoon boat so conveniently. Keith and his wife are fantastic hosts! It is clear that they truly care about the property and the comfort and happiness of their guests. We would stay here again and recommend to others. »
