« The home was perfect for our family of 4 and two small dogs. We enjoyed the long walk to the dock (approximately.36 mile) each morning with our dogs and coffee. The road was very quiet with very little traffic (early June) and we especially enjoyed the very large screened in porch with beautiful sunset views and the outdoor tv which our teen enjoyed. « Accommodations were exactly as pictured. No false advertising with this property. Property was immaculate. Hosts Samantha and Brian were very friendly and got back to me in minutes with the one question I did have. Will be booking with them again. »

« The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. « We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. Everything was so clean and beautifully arranged. I loved all the details that went into it. You could tell that a lot of thought and care went into planning what should be put in there, like laundry detergent, extra towels and tea & coffee. We greatly appreciate how wonderful the host was. « This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee...

« The cabin is nicely tucked away on the edge of woods off a rural road. The cabin was immaculate with a pleasant wood smell. It was stocked with all basics as you'd expect. The country store, a short walk away, was the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We only wished that the shower head was adjustable and the bed was not so squeaky. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway! »

« Property & cabin were adorable! Everything is well-maintained. We brought our fur baby along, there are designated dog relief areas but not a lot of grass for your pups potty needs. Erin was phenomenal with communication throughout the whole process. She is just lovely and wonderful to work with, cannot say enough good things about her. The cabin is nestled in a clean safe semi wooded area yet a nice stroll away from the village, best of both worlds. There is a restaurant within walking distance...
