« The host was welcoming and especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly. We assumed there would be a means to cook meals besides a microwave and a hot plate. The Keurig didn’t work. Upon stripping the bed before leaving, discovered there was no mattress pad. Liquid soap dispenser in bathroom had been diluted with water. We bought Soft Soap the next day and left it for the next guest. May we suggest providing individual soaps for the shower? Didn’t expect to have to pack our soap to use...

« This is hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had. The property is in the best location for Chautauqua Lake. It is walking distance to everything you could possibly want to do, including restaurants, shopping, and recreation. It is a very short 10 minute drive to the Chautauqua institution if that is one of the reasons you are visiting. It is about a 20 minute drive to Lilydale. « You might think Cattaraugus NY is in the middle of nowhere, but that's the point, isn't it? It's actually centrally located and has enough access to conveniences.The apartment is great, clean, well stocked, spacious. The hosts are awesome, just let them know if you need something. There is heat, but no A/C, which you probably won't need.I was in town as a break from camping and slumming it for weeks in the Buffalo area. Just being able to cook, do laundry and cycle the hilly roads down here...
