« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Not only is the suite homey and comfortable, but it's within easy walking distance of downtown Clinton and less than 5 minutes' drive from Hamilton College. Our hostess, Dianne, was friendly and easy to communicate with. I'm sure we'll be back! »

« Older home in what seemed like an iffy neighborhood (I have never been to Utica prior to this trip so do not know the areas at all just going by how it appeared to me). I took a chance on this new listing because it checked a lot of boxes. Two bedrooms, kitchen, competitively priced, not far from where we had to go for a sports tournament. A day or two before arrival I still had not received check in instructions so I messaged the host. He was quick to respond and the directions were...

« Great place to stay! Perfect in so many ways, it’s hard to find anything like a cottage at Sylvan Beach! »

« Booked for 7 days, in town visiting family in surrounding area. Great location, place was very clean, host responded promptly to any questions and they also checked in as well to see if we needed anything. Definitely will reserve again. »

« This property was charming and looked like the description. There were only 2 of us but I could see how it would work for a maximum of 4 people. The kitchen opens up to the living room and is fully stocked. The outside property is spacious and the fire pit was an added bonus. It's right outside of Hamilton, NY which is a cute town and host to Colgate University. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling through Upstate. It has a relaxing vibe and is a comfortable place to chill. »

« This was the perfect place to relax on the water! Everything you need to enjoy the lake life- kayaks, tubes, a paddle board, and a clean swimming area; fire pit and fire table; plenty of seating on the porch, deck, and dock; and gorgeous, private views. The house is very clean, furniture as described, and comfortable for our family of 4. Close enough to Hamilton NY, but still feel like you get away from it all. We hope to be back, thank you for letting us stay! »

« We were going to an event at Turning Stone but the hotel rates were high. We found this property a short drive away and it was nice. We were comfortable watching TV and slept well. There was. Keurig so coffee was a breeze. We would stay again when we go back to Turning Stone. »

« Lovely visit to my past. I’m a CNY native. Used to work in Madison county. Ancestors lived here. People and family so important. Here for family reunion on ancestral farm. It’s my heart place. »

« We felt so welcome here between the hosts and the feel of the house itself. We were visiting family for the holidays and it was nice to have a quiet and comfortable place to call home for a week. Everything was clean and the hosts really thought of everything you may need. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. »

« I felt I had an entire house to myself. Just beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and private. Morning scones were a treat. I just wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Loved the red poppies. I went home and preferred some for my garden. »

« Firefly Falls is simply wonderful!The Retreat is so spacious, beautifully decorated and filled with so many amenities-everything is very thoughtful and made us feel completely at home! The setting, property and especially the sound of the creek will have you relaxed in no time! Only about 17mins from Colgate University and close to so many restaurants and sights. We cannot wait to return! Robin and Keith thank you for being so helpful and for sharing your beautiful home! »
