« We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter. »

« We can not say enough about the accommodations nor our host. We absolutely loved the cozy cabin and numerous times found ourselves saying OMG-look at this! They thought of everything. We also were able to have a great bon fire(s) and a beautiful graduation family get together for our niece. Pete could not have been a better host! « The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. « My fiancé and I really enjoyed our long weekend stay in this cozy cabin. The cabin has every amenity you could ever need between the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms. The queen bed was so comfortable. So many pillows were provided, which is not typical for a VRBO. Loved the electric fireplace! « Beautiful, spacious place to stay. Communication with host was immediate and responsive. Jetted tub was wonderful. Wood stove was a nice extra and plenty of fire wood. Weather didn’t allow for exploring the property but that’ll be for next time! »
