« The property was pretty and private, with a beautiful view. Very quiet town. The cabin was clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft! The owner was very friendly and checked in with us when we arrived. There was a storm the night before we were to check out and they had the driveway plowed quickly. They were also nice enough to offer a later check out time to make sure we could leave safely. Close to Oak Mountain for skiing!Definitely recommend! »

« My adult daughter, our dog, and I stayed for 2 nights - it was quaint and cozy. We had the gas fireplace on twice when it got chilly outside, and bought our meals from local restaurants and ate them inside the cabin. We went for walks and explored gift shops - the cabin was in a great location. Austin (property host) was excellent - answered my questions and gave suggestions for dining and beaches. My daughter and i had a wonderful, relaxing stay. »

« Property is exactly as explained in the description. Owners are very responsive to messages. Everything you need to know is in the book they leave you and it's very detailed. Everything your could possibly need and then some at the cabin. River is right in the back yard and great swimming. We brought some tubes and spent alot of time just floating around. « We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location on the river was beautiful and our kids did not hesitate to jump in and wade in the river as soon as we arrived. « I was placed in cabin C. Great experience but the snow wasn’t removed from walk way to enter the cabin and the pans they provided us weren’t the best. food would stick to it even with butter or spray on oil. Besides that it was great would for sure come back again!! »

« The home was perfect for our family of 4 and two small dogs. We enjoyed the long walk to the dock (approximately.36 mile) each morning with our dogs and coffee. The road was very quiet with very little traffic (early June) and we especially enjoyed the very large screened in porch with beautiful sunset views and the outdoor tv which our teen enjoyed. « We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. Everything was so clean and beautifully arranged. I loved all the details that went into it. You could tell that a lot of thought and care went into planning what should be put in there, like laundry detergent, extra towels and tea & coffee. We greatly appreciate how wonderful the host was. « This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee...

« Perfect place for my husband, adult son (22) and I to enjoy the outdoors. The house faces the lake and although small, it is well laid out and did not feel cramped.
