« Our visit was in mid May and the area was lush and green. Including an assortment of waterfowl in the little pond in front of the cabin. Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. « Peaceful and so cozy. Weather wasn't cooperating but being in the warm, toasty, cabin in a rainy day was blissful! Mark, the host, is such a wonderful, caring and pleasant host. I love to cook and the amenities were perfect! Definitely stay here even if you stay out of season. »

« My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places. »

« I’ve stayed in a number of vrbo’s and this is the first I have been compelled to write a review because the experience was so positive. Property and cabin was clean and in great condition. Linens and beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and location was about 25 minutes from Cooperstown. We saw a ton of wildlife in the area including deer, groundhogs, a fox, chipmunks, and turkeys. Great place to stay! »

« We were in the area for a family wedding and this rental worked perfectly. It really was a home away from home, full kitchen, laundry area. The 2nd floor had a seperate living area, full bath and sleeping area for my son’s family with 2 small children. Had I stayed longer I may have enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. »

« The cabin was clean and well-furnished. We had all the amenities we needed. Beautiful area. Five of us stayed there comfortably. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and grilling food. Very pleasant environment. All that, and it was conveniently located to drive back and forth to Cooperstown for baseball games. A great time was had by all. We would gladly go back again! »

« This was the best experience my family and I had. The Host was amazing meet every need and simply was so genuine and nice. The cabin was so cozy ,clean and cute.
