« We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter. »

« Property is exactly as explained in the description. Owners are very responsive to messages. Everything you need to know is in the book they leave you and it's very detailed. Everything your could possibly need and then some at the cabin. River is right in the back yard and great swimming. We brought some tubes and spent alot of time just floating around. « The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. Paper products provided...

« This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee...

« Fantastic experience from start to end! Very new and upscale remodel with an open floor concept. Large lot with plenty of parking, basketball, patio dining, firepit, and grill. Very cool screened in porch overlooking the lake. Plenty warm and excellent water pressure. There's also a bar/restaurant right next door which was very convenient. Five stars! »

« Everything about the property was perfect exactly as listed . Close to the fun downtown area but far enough away that the neighborhood seems pretty rough, but hey it’s Albany. The stay was awesome and if I ever come back this way I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again. »

« Everything at Hudson Pines was wonderful from start to finish. The campground was impressively clean. The pool was awesome and the game room. All of the staff were wonderful. The Tamarack cabin we stayed in was perfect and very comfortable, even the beds! The view was magnificient. We were literally on the Hudson River. It was so peaceful to sit in the adirondack chairs sipping coffee with the Hudson River as a view. We would definitely come back and stay. All in all, an absolute fabulous time...

Reached by a several miles-long dirt road that is exceptionally well-maintained, so not particularly challenging for those not used to dirt roads, even though unlit.Nonetheless, arriving for the first time in the middle of the night is a bit of an adventure. »

« This place was extremely clean and comfortable. The check in and check out processes were easy, and the managers were so incredibly responsive. I loved how there were so many sheets and towels. We didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. Based on the sage, it might be better for one family just because the second bedroom downstairs has glass doors, so it’s not completely private. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again! »
