« The home has several strengths. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the bathrooms were nicely updated, and the gaming table was a big hit with our kids. The home was clean, well stocked, and the host was responsive.A few things future guests should know before booking. If you’re planning a boating vacation, the property is on Squantz Pond rather than the main body of Candlewood Lake. Because of the 25 HP restriction, we couldn’t use our boat from the property and instead rented a marina...

« We stay in 3-4 vacation rentals a year and this property by far was the most comfortable and well stocked house we have ever stayed in! It felt like being at home! But the best part was the sunset views over the lake from the back porch. Clean, updated, great hosts - we will be back! »

« Everything was wonderful, just a few frustrations but nothing huge. Was planning on using tandem kayaks as advertised because we had small children but they were lost by the previous renters. Also planned on using the pull out couch bed but that was broken and unable to be used. Didn't use the grill because the grate was very rusty and starter button was broken. Best Western Danbury/Bethel

Best Western Danbury/Bethel

8/10 Bien
