« The ADK Getaway "Pine Tree Retreat" was as-advertised, and the experience was outstanding!! Everything necessary is provided for the stay and the establishment was very clean. The host was gracious enough to decorate for Christmas, including stockings above the fireplace, and a tree - it was the perfect touch to providing a warm place to spend vacation away from home. We would absolutely stay again. »

« The house was very clean and well stocked. You can tell they take pride in the house and property. Plenty of room for groups of several people. Screened in porch is very spacious compared to other properties in the area we've stayed at. Access to the water was easy and canoes and kayaks were available for use. Location is only a few minutes from town, many lakes, ponds, and hikes. Host was very nice and prompt answering any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again. »

« This is a tiny bare bones cabin. Hardly room for a couple. No stove or place to cook. There was microwave and sink. The bed was large but mattress sagged in middle. The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty. « The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
