« The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from. »

« this was a wonderfully cozy cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. it was close to saranac lake and lake placid and made for a great launching point for our day trips. We always enjoyed coming back to the home and prepare food and relax by the fire pit. it was an ideal getaway. thank you! »

« Beautiful property! Once you get there (it is a long, slow drive from the main road) the cabin is paradise. Well kept, view over the water, private dock, a small boathouse with everything you need, and the hosts are super responsive when questions arise. Highly recommend. »

« We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. The unit was very well furnished from pots and pans, to comfortable bedding, to personal watercraft, an inviting fire pit, genuine Adirondack chairs, to an inviting lawn swing overlooking the lake.
