« My adult son and I were long overdue for a mother/son getaway, so we chose this tranquil little spot right on Lake Champlain. It was perfect for a weekend of relaxation and reconnecting. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen, sitting by the fire, and conversing and laughing on the shore of the lake while watching the sunset. « Isle La Motta us beautiful and the grounds, private beach, and lake are amazing! The house needs serious renovations and is very outdated (to the point of being uncomfortable). We eventually settled in, but it took a lot of tolerance to feel comfortable. The water inside is not potable and you need to bring your own drinking water. If the house ever gets renovated, then this would be an unbelievable place to stay ....again, the beach and lake were fantastic...the house, not so much. »

« This charming cabin in the woods had all the modern amenities you hoped for and away from TV's. The place had games, puzzles and outdoor gear to keep my children happy and mostly off their screens. I even saw them playing battleship with the lanterns on the covered porch- What a great memory! The downstairs shower was hot, clean and easy to use.
