« Nice location in the heart of Sylvan Beach. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment itself is above The Sandy Pail store. We heard no noise from down below. The entrance is behind an ice cream store and not very attractive. But the apartment is clean, modern, and nicely decorated in a contemporary manner. There is no dishwasher or washer dryer. »

« Several of my friends come up to the area every year for a memorial golf outing for an old Army buddy of ours and this was a great location for us as we rented both halves of this property. « The salmon river is in the back of building, opened bedroom window to hear the water. We stayed in June, 2025. Newly remodeled inside and out, good parking. We liked the all-wood surrounds, tall ceilings and large bathroom. The keyless entry was helpful. Everything we needed was within 5 miles distance of the location. The downside to the apartment, it is on the second floor, 18 stairs, ( well lit and good hand rails) was kinda hard to carry fishing stuff and ebikes. »

« Perfect for a remote writing retreat! I spent a few days here on my own reading and writing and it was lovely. Was pretty easy to find although the lack of driveway was a bit confusing at first. The wifi and cell service is basically non-existent but for what I was trying to do that week. The sun room was lovely and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The shower had great pressure and the laundry worked great. The ladder to the loft was easy to get to up and down. I would book this place again. »

« This was my first time to the area-the property was nice and convenient for activities like the zoo, green lakes state park, and other hiking/walking. The owners daughter who did the check in was kind and friendly. The property was clean and seemed like recent updates. I would recommend bringing some cooking utensil/items if you plan on cooking there- but at the same time, there are many stores in just a short drive. Overall this was a great stay and I would 100% book again! »
