« This was a really good place to stay and such a wonderful find for repeat visits when I’m in the area again. A must have for breakfast is the homemade pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and delicious glacéd sliced apples, simply wonderful. »

Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. « Loved the place. It is in middle of no-where, so connectivity poor or zero. The internet worked only in the kitchen/lobby/breakfast area and not in rooms. I am sure it is easy to fix and then it will be a great place to stay in serenity and cleanliness. The staff is very helpful. They recommend to visit a pub/restaurant in the evening and it was just excellent. great food and ambiance. »

« Très bien reçu . Vu mon emploi du temps, j'ai le privilège de pouvoir prendre le Breakfast à 7h10 au lieu de7h30 ( heure habiltuelle ). La proximité de la route et la médiocre isolation phonique de la fenêtre m'a fait un peu peur pour dormir mais vu la fatigue, ça n'a pas posé de problème . La propreté de la timbale à dents laissait à désirer .A part ça, tout était ok . Bon rapport qualité/prix »

« We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...

« Views are great over the square and the check in and communication process was easy. £100 bond was returned quickly and the flat is very secure and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking was free 6pm to 6am and is a 5-10 minute walk away at Argos and can be paid for remotely from 6am 8am which was £2. »
