We had a deeply disappointing stay at the St. Regis Toronto. From check-in delays to a serious incident involving aggressive and unprofessional behaviour by a hotel security guard toward myself and 5-year-old son, the experience was not what we expected from a luxury hotel. Despite being respectful and patient throughout our stay, we were met with hostility when our son asked a player from a visiting sports team for a photo. The guard was verbally aggressive and even used profanity in front of our child. Multiple staff witnessed the incident and acknowledged it was out of line, yet management failed to address it properly or apologize in person upon checkout. We hope the hotel takes this seriously and ensures no other guest is treated this way.
